Coffee is a Fruit. That’s why every bean has it’s proper taste profile – depending on seasonal conditions, environmental influences, location and processing. To make sure that p14 is constantly surprising you with its crisp acidity, great complexity and fruity flavors, our team has to be up to the process: We roast lighter. Only 100% Arabica, no blends.
In order to become selected for P14, we expect the highest quality and precision of a coffee throughout the whole value chain. We eagerly look for direct, personal contact to the best producers to guarantee nothing less.
We spent in numerous hours to find the best roast-profile and do a series of quality checks and cuppings. Thus we make sure you get a consistently high quality.
You choose the extraction, we deliver world class coffee. We don't want to limit you in the extraction method and we believe that each of our P14 coffees can be brewed excellently as a filter as well as an elegantly adjusted espresso. P14 should keep their unique and fresh Tasteprofile, that's why we pack them instantly airsealed in 250g aluminum free bags. Furthermore are the bags marked with the the origin informations, as well as the roast date and shelflife.
Our Roastery exists pretty long, since 1896 to be precise. Today it is led in the 4th generation by me, Philipp Henauer and my Sister Stefanie. Even if we gained a lot of coffee knowledge over the years which we love to share in our SCA courses Barista, Sensory, Brewing & Grinding as well as Latte Art, we still like to learn day by day.
We are a long therm Member of the SCA Switzerland and an important and successful part of the SCA Coffee Championships. Moreover we are happy to count some of the most innovative Coffeeshops as our customers.
