Cocoa, cherry, plum
Medium body
The symphony of acidity and sweetness makes for an elegant coffee.
The mouthfeel is round, juicy and lingering.
Our Marseillaise is a different kind of anthem. It is a song of praise for the work on the Finca Irlanda in Mexico.
Hot, the coffee surprises with intense cocoa aromas. When slightly cooled, the stone fruit aromas take over and complete the taste experience.
Compared to the Irlanda Geisha, the Marseillaise has a more pronounced acidity that nestles around the sweetness. In this song of praise, every note is just right - enjoy it as a fine and balanced filter coffee or as a powerful, sweet espresso that is full and round. If you add milk to the espresso, it will enchant you as a fine cherry yoghurt.

Finca Irlanda is the oldest biodynamic farm in all of Latin America and is considered a pioneer. The beautiful farm in the Chiapas Mountains is run by 3+4 generations.
On the Irlanda there is also a larger protected area for animals, where they can retreat. In addition, throughout the plantation, strong attention is paid to mixed culture and the preservation of old plant species.
Throughout the plantation there are different varieties of coffee and the Marseillaise is one of them. The Henauer company has been working very closely with Irlanda for a long time and is also heavily involved in the "new" processing and selection procedures. This Marseillaise is a natural, cold anaerobic fermented coffee and is made especially for Henauer Kaffee.
